About Krispino

Krispino was born from a taste that never left Satheesh. Though he was born in Kerala, his childhood unfolded in Sunabeda, Odisha, a green town surrounded by the Eastern Ghats. Every summer, his parents took him back to Kerala, where his grandparents owned agricultural land filled with banana trees. His grandmother would turn those bananas into golden banana chips and prepare murukkus, mixtures, tapioca chips, and fiery Kanthari Tapioca Chips made with tiny but extremely hot Kerala chillies. When Satheesh returned to Odisha, she packed bags full of snacks for him — and in every bite, he carried Kerala, his childhood, and her love.

Years later, after working in India with HDFC, Max Life Insurance, and Shriram Life, and then in Africa with American Garden in Tanzania and Noble Group LDA in Angola, Satheesh returned to India with deep experience in FMCG, retail, quality, and customer trust. But the memory of his grandmother’s snacks stayed close to his heart. When starting a business felt overwhelming, his wife, Mrs. Sija Satheesh, gave the dream its direction. A wonderful cook herself, she played an active role in choosing the location, selecting authentic ingredients, experimenting with recipes, refining taste, and ensuring quality. Together, they founded Krispino in Pullelikadavu, Kuriyanoor, Kerala, on the banks of the Pamba river — a brand rooted in Kerala’s earth, water, air, spices, and honesty.



Today, Krispino is more than a snack company. It is a tribute to a grandmother’s kitchen, a husband-wife dream, and the strength of rural Kerala. With more than 80% of its workforce made up of women, many from rural and remote communities, Krispino is creating stable employment, financial independence, and dignity through work. Every pack carries the freshness of Kerala, the warmth of home, and the hands of women who are helping build a better future. Krispino is remembered by Satheesh, recreated with Sija, made by the women of Kerala, born by the Pamba, and shared with India.
